does it sounds rude. Should I not send it?

"I'm sorry if this sounds b$tchy or petty. but if i hadn't txted u today to say hi and how r u; would u have done the same, ever? please don't take this the wrong way. just something i noticed, u never keep in touch."

it kinda sounds a little control-freakishh and yeah, rude. i wouldnt send it. ask her to hang out or something instead.

Don't send it.  People have many reasons for being distant, and a text message is not the right way to interrogate them as to why.  Instead, try sending something along the lines of:

"Hey _insert name_, just wanted to see how you were doing since we haven't spoken in a while. Hope all is well!"

Something light.  No one wants to get an angry text, like really.

Its making you look quite needy and desperate. Being honest they will just not respond to it. I think you should take it up in person.
