  1. Did you report the rape? If so in some states they can make the rapist get a HIV test and share the results with you.

THe window period for HIV is 3 months, but when you have the STD check up ask for a HIV test, then get retested every month until you are past the 3 month window period. HIV usually shows up 90% of the time after 30 days, 94-96% are 60 days and 99.6% after 90 days, a few people take a little longer.

    Good Luck-

  2. Antibodies to HIV usually show up within 3 months of infection, but in extremely rare cases, it can take 6 months for the antibodies to show up.  Other STD's would show up on tests sooner, though, so get tested now, then retest for HIV in 3 and 6 months.

  3. let me say that l am very sorry that you got raped just pray and relax and l hope everything turns out the best for you. good luck

  4. awww u need to report wat happened to you love

  5. It's important that you go and get tested for STD's and HIV.  If you do have anything, they can treat it, even HIV if caught early enough.

I hope you had that guy arrested, and put him in Jail.

  6. As a human, I completely sympathize with you. While the cops are doing their job, I know it may seem like they are not giving you your immediate answers to the many questions you have running through your mind right now, especially that of contracting a communal disease. Did you go to the hospital before or after the rape? This may have been wise, as they could have performed a myriad of tests confirming the existence of s***n/blood/hair/etc. that would better identify the attacker. While it may be too late, I would strongly advise you to go to a hospital, clinic, or Planned Parenthood and get checked. Tell them your story and provide them the police report, it's not out of anyone's reach to be able to help you with your concerns.

Also, rape victims are encouraged to attend psychological counseling or therapy. Please see a doctor.
