I had a seizure a couple weeks ago and I've told my chain of command about this. I'm set to see a neurologist on the 25th and were set for deployment on the 21st what do you think is going to happen.

  1. They'll ask some questions, mainly.

Depending on your neuro, they may go ahead and set up for an MRI, which is no biggie, takes like 20 minutes.  Or they may set up to have you take one of those flashing light tests to try to trigger a seizure to see if you have epilepsy.

Word of advice... the flashing light test sucks, lol.  Made me want to vomit I was getting quite nauseous by the time it was over.

Oh, and forgot to add... they may not let you deploy.  Seizures can be serious, they have to rule out things like brain tumors before they can ship you off anywhere.

  2. You need to see a neurologist prior to the 25th.  Go to the emergency room if you have too.

  3. Get ready, you are going to be deployed.

    Good luck and stay safe!

  4. Unless you have a licensed doctor say you can't perform your duties as a guardsman then you'd better leave with the rest of them!
