I'm sewing a cover for an outdoor swing and need to line it with material. Do I have to use an outdoor liner?

The material on the outside is an outdoor material but it needs to be lined with a solid black liner on the bottom. Does this material have to be made of outdoor material as well? Any suggestions on stores that sell outdoor material?

Try http://www.beaconfabric.com for your fabric.... they specialize in outdoor fabrics and UV resistant fabrics.  Yes, you want UV resistant fabric (and thread) for your project... no point in letting it just fall apart early from the sun.
