Question:

I'm sick and I lost my voice

I've been sick for about 4 days now, and I lost my voice 2 days ago. I would like to be able to speak normally by Monday, but I would love it if I could fix it by tomorrow. Is there any good way to fix it? I've tried gargling with salt water, and it didn't help much. What else can I do?

  1. You should rest your voice completely. Do not speak until Monday. Your vocal cords are irritated and need complete rest.

You can put a spoonful of thyme in a bowl of boiling water, a towel over your head and do inhalations.

I wish you all the best for Monday and a good Sunday!

  2. Drink a lot of warm/hot green tea.

Odds are that will work better than anything.

Using a steamer or eating chili peppers may also help, although I'd go for green tea first.

  3. Try one spoon of honey with a dash of lemon every hour. It should fix your problem.
