I don't know about a cd - but I can definately suggest you wear a dress.  If you want to you can dress as dorothy - but it depends on the style of competition.  I would probably just wear a nice simple dress with some very flashy/sparkly jewellery.  Make sure the dress is below your knees though - nothing worse than a short skirt on a singer who is standing on a stage above you - if you get what I mean!!!
