  1. he was just ran ryte into that left hook but if he would be more defensive he would have took it

  2. I'm a brand new Katsidis fan.  He is fun to watch and is a class act.  He'll be back and will get better with experience.

  3. That first round.....Not a good start for him.

But as the fight went through the rounds,Katsidis was looking really good. But like he said,..too late,he let his guard down. This is boxing and he will come back.He did look devastated when he knew he had lost.He was also a gracious loser....but he will come back.He is young and confident, with plenty of home support, and we Australians will be right behind him again next time.

  4. It's hard not to like the guy because he fights hard and he made no excuses at the end.  I will root for him next time he fights.

  5. he got caught with a left cross shot lunging in..

    i like his style......very aggressive.

    he would have won easily.

my first time watching him was tonight.

on a side note.......marquez won that fight.

  6. Katsidis is fun to watch......but he faced a veteran champ and didn't respect his power and boxing.  He got over excited and paid the price.

Agressive fighters are fun to watch, but Katsidis has to learn how to use it effectively....and keep his hands up.

Just as Hatton got tagged by mayweather, you can't just lunge into a Mayweather or Casaymayor type fighter......they will make you pay and counter punch all night long.

  7. Im an instant fan here. He was an exciting fighter, he didn't give up after a rough first round he didn't clinch or run but continued forward. Also in the loss he was humble and didn't criticize the ref or judges but took it like a future champ would. His quiet humble attitude reminded me of Kostya Tsz. His fighting style of Gatti. If he gets the right trainers behind him  I think he could go far.
