Question:

I'm so confused about implantation bleeding.

I didn't take the opk s this month due to low finances. Anyways, I've been thinking that I could be ovulating all week. Every day the cm would be better in terms of ewcm than the day before, so I would discard the day before and think "okay today's the day". Well, yesterday I had some extreme ewcm! This morning I had pink blood when I wiped. Not much. It was engrossed in the clear mucous. I am on day 22 of my cycle. What gives? I hate to think it's implantation. I've been trying for 8 months and don't want to torture myself any more, but this has caught me completely off guard. Could it be? For those who have had implantation, what did it look like and when did it occur?

  1. Are you taking your bbt temperature?  I just use a regular digital thermometer that I already had.  This is the best way to determine when you ovulate.

I know that I my cm STOPS immediately after ovulation, so I could never have implantation bleeding with fertile cm at the same time.  I think that fertile cm is supposed to stop after ovulation - but then everyone is different.

This month I had very bright red blood on the tissue when I wiped at 5dpo.  The next day I had some brown blood and a low bbt.  That was a week ago.  I was supposed to get my period today and I have absolutely no sign of it coming.  Waiting until my husband is in town to take a hpt.

  2. If it the blood was mixed with ewcm, then it is possible that the bleeding occured due to ovulation.  What is the usual length of your cycle?

  3. funny we are on day 22 together... some women experience this same thing and it turns out to be implantation, just wait a few days and keep monitoring it. yea i know thats hard to do but it may pay off in time. lots of baby dust to you.
