I'm so confused.....?

Question

yup, this is kind of like a "does he like me" question, but actually more of "why are guys so complicated" haha

well i kind of like the new kid and he told some of my guy friends that he likes me so obviously they told me. The thing is, me, him and a few other people were all going to hang out on Saturday but then he changed his plans and he's going to hang out with this other guy at the mall. I'm kind of mad/dissapointed because I wanted to hang out and since I thought he liked me I thought he was going to come but he changed his plans last minute. Why do you think he did that? Is he over me (lol in 2 days? i didn't think so but not sure)? I don't think that it's because he's shy because we always talk at school and he seems pretty confident. What should I do. Oh and it also doesn't help that the kid he's hanging out with.... well lets just say that he isn't exactly a great guy. I don't want to judge anyone so i'll try to say this nicely but he used to smoke alot of pot (he says he doesn't anymore) and he's kind of emo....(not the guy i like, the person who's going to hang out with the guy that I like)

I hope you understood that, I can be kind of confusing.

Anyways...thoughts?

I think he probaly still likes you!

Maybe he was nervous about hanging out with you, or something happened like he forgot that he promised to hang out with the other guy, or the other guy promised to get him something he wanted from the mall if he went.

all guys are like that, and if he knew how important it was for u for him to hang out with him he probaly would have said no to the guy.

Does he know you like him? If he does, he might feel somewhat uncomfortable around you, and that's why he's choosing to hang out with this other guy. See?

But, maybe ask him if he wants to do something some other time, as friends. That way he knows it's all relaxed, no pressure. I'm sure (what with the fact that he's new) isn't going to pass on the opportunity to make friends. You should invite somebody else along too, that way it's less awkward and you'll have more fun.

2 days would quick for him to know you enough to like you, so I doubt it. But over time, once he gets to know you, why shouldn't he?

Ask to do something Saturday and if he says yes he still likes you.  He is probably just nervous

I personally think he got nervous and took the first chance he got (mall with pot boy. )

next time make sure he knows you want him to be there (wherever 'there' is) and he may get more confidence.
