  1. What everyone else said was good. What has helped me is counseling. If you have medical benefits, typically a portion of your sessions will be covered. Counseling helps to sort out the root issues of your depression. Also if that isn't an option, Exercising is an awesome way to help your mood, surrounding yourself with loving people, writing allows you to get out raw emotions and spiritual guidance. Personally,my faith has helped me through, it may not be the best choice for you, so just decide what makes YOU genuinely happy and stick to that gameplan and you will be feeling better before you know it!

  2. see a doctor and get some exercise

  3. If you live near a park, go for a long walk.   No headphones, no nothing.   Look at what the world has to offer in it's beauty and try to realize no matter how bad something is, you will get through it.

  4. i see that you have had alot of fun and good people around you. just try to be around them. excercise and do things that you never would imagine that you would ever do

  5. The hardest thing to do, the best thing too, is seeking help. If it's at the point it's severely interfering with your life, you might want to consider seeing your physician. Depression is serious, it's not a "fake" illness that many people still seem to think it is. Don't listen to the 'snap out of it' comments you might get. There's always an underlying cause to depression, be it mental or physical.

In the meantime, try exercise, music, good books, movies, going out with friends (isolation is terrible).

Good luck. There's nothing to be ashamed about being depressed. Everyone gets it at some point in life.

  6. dESTRESSORS:EXERCISE,TIME WITHFRIENDS,s*x,BOWLING,SWIMMING,MOVIES.... KEEP MOVING AND YOU WILL NOT HAVE TIME TO THINK ABOUT LIFE.

  7. try st Johns Wort from a health food store

  8. show yourself that you love yourself (if you do. if you don't then some serious soulsearching is in order.) by eating really healthily and exercising regularly. break bad habits. take pride in the way you look. find a creative outlet (drawing, painting, blogging, journalling, photography) and start seeing a therapist.

journalling helps me SOOOOOOO much. seriously. give it a shot. good luck!!!
