I'm so flippin' sick of nursing this kid! How the heck do I wean without losing my mind?

Question

My daughter is 14 months old. She's not even close to self weaning and just seems addicted to nursing. She's waking up at night to nurse and if I don't she just screas herself wide awake and won't go back to sleep...even if I break down and nurse her. Last night she was up at 2:30 and 4....and we never got back to sleep. She's probably nursed three or four times since 4 AM. I'm exhausted. She's too old for marathon feedings that last 40 minutes or more -- and then she looks to nurse again an hour later if not less. She won't take milk or food if NURSING is what she wants. I'm... no, I've lost my patience and just want her OFF of me. How do I get her to stop without torturing either of us? 7 AM now and she's nursing again. Falling asleep, but now we have to get up and go to daycare/work!
