On Tuesday, me, my mom, and my sister went to Walmart. My mom said we could either get: What Happens in Vegas (DVD), or The Sims 2: Apartment Life. I said I wanted the game, but my sister wanted the movie, and she said "You'll only have to wait two days to get it." (My mom was going shopping again on Thursday.) So we got the movie. Today, when I got home from school, my mom said thar she didn't get the game. I was so mad, and my mom said that it wasn't at the store, (I didn't believe her.) Then my mom said that we might go to Target today. Then when I asked her later she said "I don't feel like it, I'm too tired." That made me even more mad (especially since she went downstairs and started watching TV, she was real tired huh?) Then when we were downstairs she asked me why I was acting like a baby (All I was doing was using my laptop, how is that acting like a baby?) I said that I wasn't, I just really wanted the game, and she said "Why am I gonna buy a game that comes with games we already have?" I said "It costs the same as a normal game." The she said " No, the normal games cost $20, and that one cost $35. And I thought: How does she know how much it cost if she didn't see the game there? I'm so sick of her putting my hopes up, and then spitting in my face. I'm so angry.

What do I do?

  2. my mom does that 2!! its so annoying =[

  3. it sound like your mom is a good mom and why would she lie to you grow up and love your mom while you still have one, thank about the kids that never even saw a game,or a mom,

  4. Grow up, get a job, buy it yourself and stop being such a selfish baby!

  5. Kelly,,, maybe mom doesn't  have the extra money at this time to buy the game and she doesn't want you to worry about money problems at this young age > Ask your sister to team up with you and ask mom again,,, maybe she will get it for you this weekend as a surprise ??? If you lived next to me I would take you out and buy it for you > sorry your disappointed ,,but give mom a chance, maybe she was too tired at the time ,,,{{ we older moms get tired easy }} Good Luck...I hope you'll be playing the game real soon.

  6. go out and buy it yourself. earn some money, get a taxi, and buy it. i mean, if it's really worth it. and i know it's frustrating when parents do that. my mom does that some times. but you could try believing her. or you could just believe that she doesn't want the game.

  7. I got a question for you, why are teenagers so whiny and always think that their parents are only there for their every need????

I agree with the first response to this, grow up, I can't believe how selfish you are being over a stupid game.

There are more important things in life to be concerned about and one day you will realise this, I just feel sorry for your mum that she has to put up with this until you grow up..

  8. yes life and parents can be a b***h at times and life can be hard but in life sometimes you just have to waait, and sometimes waiting is worth it.
