  1. Someone once said that the best cure for "stage fright" is to pretend the audience is naked.

Other than that, all I can add is:

    "Good Luck!!"

  2. You just need to relax and enjoy yourself. Do something that will take your mind off the performance, like reading a book or talking to a friend. Don't over practice because you will just stress yourself out.

Think about it this way: the audience doesn't know what's coming. If you make a mistake and coolly cover it, than the audience won't even notice. Besides, they aren't there to laugh at you. They're there to support you and enjoy your performance.

It's normal for most people to be nervous :) You'll overcome it, and I'm sure you'll do a great job. Good luck!

  3. Run!

  4. this is very normal :) trust me I know! I once had to preform for 500 people in a really chic theater!

But you know, you have nothing to worry about. Those people came there to see you, you don't need to live up to what ever they expect. you just need to show them what you can!

And once you're up there, and you're acting, trust me all your fears will go away. What you have now is very normal, it's a bit stage fright, but EVERYBODY has it and it will pass! trust me. Just have fun, and I know you'll be great!

  5. I performed in school musicals and studied voice for a while. I suffered from stage fright in the beginning so bad, I didn't think I could go on.  My voice coach (who at one  time sang at the Metropolitan Opera) gave a great tip...focus on one thing at the back of the auditorium ie. a clock, a door, etc. and stay focused on that thing..it really helped me so much! Good luck.

  6. Just think of it as like another rehearsal...
