I'm so sick of people lying!!!

Question

How can I get people to stop making up white lies that aren't even necessary? How can they honestly think I'd believe them anyway?!

Example: My friend and I are emailing back and forth at 4am (no one else is on) and I get up to make some tea, I come back and he's asked a really personal question in which I don't mind answering at all, we ask questions like such a lot, but then there's another email a little bit later saying "I'm sorry if I offended you, that was supposed to send to someone else, my email messed up..." at 4am? okay. maybe. but I know him and I know that was a lie. Why not just leave it at "I'm sorry if I offended you?!"

Oh because guys are just stupid and they have to lie about stuff to save themselves embarrasment.So I suggest you get used to it they do it all the time and it doesn' t change as they get older. Trust me.
