  1. ok dont freak if you end up being late and your teacher is a lady just tell her that i had an emergencie bathroom need she should understand and if you happen to have a guy teacher and you dont feel comfortable with telling him, ask a friend to tell him you just had to go to the bathroom. you cant get in trouble for going to the bathroom! its not right!

    ---good luck youll be fine

    ---Sabriina ^_^

  2. it's nothing to worry about. most teachers (especially girls) are very understanding when it comes to stuff like that. they should let you go during class.

  3. make sure you always have aa pad with you

  4. Don't worry, every girl runs into this sometime. This has happened a couple times to me in particular. What kinds of pads do you wear? Since you're more heavy in blood flow, wear pads made for heavier usage - no perfumes and wear ones with wings for better support. Heavier pads keep from leakage and hide odor. A couple times you may want to excuse yourself from class to use the bathroom - just talk to your teachers about it (I didn't want to either because I was chicken but they understand) and since you're not fast at changing them, don't wear tampons, pads are better fit for heavier periods. Keep pads on you at all time, either on you hidden away of course or your locker.

  5. change at specific times, and decide those before hand (lunch, right b4 school, after, etc.)

use EXTRA absorbant pads, those tend to keep me goin for a couple hours. i don't recomend using tampons, cux those need to be changed frequently.

  6. change in the moring

    during lunch

& if you think its leaking really far ask the teacher to go use that bathroom

always have a black sweater when mother nature vist, just in case

  7. well most of your teachers will probably women, so if you dont have time between classes just tell them its an emergency and they will let you go.

and even if you have a guy teacher tell him its personal and he'll let you go.

  8. Hi

What you do is get your mom to inform the school nurse and office staff of your problem and anxieties about it. They in turn will speak with your teachers.  When something like that concerns your well being, you will be excused for being late even if you go in the class tardy!  And if for some dumb reason, they 'forget' and you do stay in the bathroom for what ever long, you go to class tardy, and tell the teacher where you were and why. You just say I have female problems.  Most men teachers are really pretty cool about it and say things like ok ok I don't want to know...go sit down! lol

Don't worry, it will be ok!!!

  9. Try this for a couple of months, until you get comfortable with everything:  If you have to "freshen up", go to the nurse's office and use the bathroom there, then ask the nurse for a pass. Explain your concerns to the nurse, and she'll probably help you out for a while, until you get things under control.

The other option is to go straight to your next class and then tell the teacher, "I need to stop by the ladies room, I might be a minute late,"  The teachers understand, as long as they don't think you're just goofing off.

  10. If you cant change during lunch or gym:   Just arrive early to your class and explain to the teacher that you'll be right back cuz you have to use the restroom.  Most teachers (not all.........but you'll learn) wont mind if you go or even if you come back a min or two after the bell rings.........thay might even give you a hall pass.

  11. change before or after lunch or even before gym or after gym

  12. chillax. every couple hours ask for a bathroom pass. plan it out. beginning of day, mid morning, lunch, afternoon.. if the teacher doesn't understand and it's a girl give her a hint that it is your time of month and you really need to go. if she doesn't understand then she's an it and hasn't had her period. =] good luck.

  13. If its a woman she'll probably understand why you need extra time. If you have a man just say it's personal. You could also ask for a hall pass during class.Make sure if you use tampons use a pad just to be safe from leakage. When i first started my period i used to wear 2 pairs of underwear or  wear 1 pair of underwear, a pair of shorts over that , and then i would put pants on.(it can really get hot when your doing this and it is close to summer)

  14. if ur kinda heavy and u don't exactly wanna leak (who actually does?) wear more stuff. if u wear tampons (which im guessing u don't since u just started) then wear a tampon and a thick pad. if ur only wearing pads then wear more than one at a time.

i started mine last year and i was in 7th grade. i had it on the first day of skool and everything! it seemed like it really sucked but it actually turned out ok.

*** here's a tip tho if ur gonna layer the pads-  put one higher up, one lower down, and then one right in the middle. thats what i did and it worked really good! but when u go to change it just take the top one off and change that one (more than likely ur only going to actually have stuff on the first one, the other two would probably just be there so that ur not worried about it during class)

and as for when to go, just go during lunch. if u don't want anyone else to hear u, tell one of ur best friends and have them make lotz of noise "washing their hands" or "getting some paper towels" just as a distraction!

    good luck!!!

  15. im sure you wont get in c**p if your late for clas, usally class's understand that girly stuff!

  16. Do you wear tampons or pads? What I did in school so I was leak-proof was wear one of each. Wear a thick pad and a regular or super tampon (whichever fits or works better) and try to be quick when you change your tampon on passing time. If you're a little late just explain to the teacher why. They won't embarrass you.

  17. Go during class.

Just say you have to go to the bathroom & look a little scared.

They'll usually let you go, especially if they're girls themselves.

They've been there before & will understand.

If they say no, tell them its an emergency.

good luck & it's not as bad as it seems.

  18. dont worry about it if your scared take a jacket to class with you so in case you feel like your going to have a leak than you can tie the jacket around your hips

  19. Ask your mom to go buy you some Tampax Super Plus. Its the Thickest Layer Pads. You put them in your Underwear so that they get the full blast of the Blood. My mom uses it. If your mom does`int know that you even have a Period now would be a good time to Her. Good Luck! I`m 11.  - Claire.

  20. Ohh honey, dont be nervous. My period was horrible in high school, I usually had to stay home the first day of my period.. I dont advise that. I dont want you to miss that much school, but as for changing your pad/tampon you can do it during class! Ask the teacher for a hall pass to use the bathroom... this way you dont have to worry about being late for class.  School is usually seven hours meaning even if you have a heavy flow you should only have to change a pad or tampon twice. Change it before school starts, at lunch, and then during one class. If you use tampons (they work and feel the best!!!) you can always use a pantie liner to help with the leaking problem... Just dont wear white pants during your period, and you should be fine!

  21. Ask the teacher during class if you can use the restroom. Thats what I've always because I don't like going to the bathroom with everyone in there, especially when I am on my period. Anyways If you ask the teacher politely and explain that three minutes is simply not enough time to use the bathroom and get to class, I'm sure your teacher will let you go. Its usually best to ask when the teacher is not teaching.

& You don't need to tell your teacher that its because of your period, just say you need to use the restroom, and its an emergency.

  22. Well make sure you have all your protection in your purse or in your backpack. Carry a extra pair of panties just in case. And don't worry. If anything happens you can always go to your school nurse. If you need to change and wind up being late to class just tell your teacher you had an emergency.

  23. go to the nurse or ask ur teacher if u can use the bathoom that way if u come a minute or 2 late, they'll know y
