I have two dynamic recipes that have won various people over, however, I'm at odds on how to get the business set up for PA regulations, as well as start up costs, licensing, selling goods, purchasing supplies, etc.

  1. Hello,

I started a business in my garage 12 years ago and now do 500K a year in revenue. I also was in the restaurant business for a long time. There are no "majic" answers but here is a little advice.

    1. Get a separate checking account and start a good accounting system from day 1. We use and I recommend Quickbooks. Get an accountant. This will save you a lot of agony in the long run.

    2. Get a website and separate phone for your business.

    3. Avoid borrowing money if at all possible. Start small and work your way up. Debt will be a huge anchor.

    4. Check with your local health dept, city and county court houses for regs and liscences.

    5. Make up business cards and flyers and pound the pavement. I still have loyal customers from sticking flyers in doors.  Local grocery stores, caterers, restaurants etc...

    6. In exchange for this advice please take a moment to check out a new business opportunity I found. There is no cost.

Here is the link. My # is on the site if you want to call.
