  1. Organized, don't not abuse coffee and alcohol. U only end up messing up your grades.

  2. three P's, Be: Popular, punctual and perforn well! trust me college is fun, way better in upper sixth! YARP! im in upper sixth in 3 weeks!!!

  3. Networking is one of the most  important things. Make sure you get connected to the right people. The sooner the better. You should find people within your major, those that are coming in the same year as you because you can work together and help each other through not only the classes but the stress and other things that come along with college. Then you should also get to know some that came in before you, they can help you figure out what teachers to: which ones are impossible, which ones let you slide by and which ones classes you can actually learn in.

Also stay connected to your advisers they can help you with a lot of stuff even outside of classes. And being a teachers pet is not a bad thing, proffesors look out for students they know. Trust when it comes to final grades and a teacher knows your name and that you do try, they'll be more likely to give you those .8 points to make that C a B or that B an A. And you'll that there are plenty of times you'll be less than 1 point away from getting that grade and if they don't know you or know you for the wrong reason they won't give it to you and there's nothing you can do.

  4. The three missions of every college male:  Get Drunk, Get swoll, Get laid.

honestly, the most important thing is learn how to learn.  Get good grades.  Excersize.  set aside one hour a day five times a week.  If you get swollen, you don't need game, you can get laid sooo much easier when you are in shape.  Don't go after freshman they are too immature., go after sophmores to get laid.  Juniors already know the stupid games and lines. seniors are too busy.

I would suggest that you start with a time management lesson.  this will help you organize your daily activity.  Schedule EVERYTHING.  Do not party or get drunk for the first year.  After you get your academic act together, get a job.  Money is the key to freedom.  Do not get a Credit card until your Junior year.  You can't rent cars and studies have shown that people with poor organizational skills tend to get into debt quickly and forever.

If you get  job, try to get one in your field.  Good grades and experience will give you an edge when you graduate.

  5. do good in your classes the first time!!! If you get lower than a C then its a failing grade, if you have to retake or withdrawal from a class it stays on your transcript FOREVER!!

  6. Go to all of your classes, don't drink, study your *** off, be focused.

  7. Yes, work hard and limit partying. But another important thing you need to do: Get involved! You have started a whole new venture with completely new people. To get the most out of this experience socially (and, yes, the social aspect of college is important) you need to make new friends and be a part of what is going on around campus.

Oh, and don't forget to call home and talk to your mother once in a while!

  8. Be organised and prepared you don't want to fail or retake any classes.!

have fun and enjoy college is meant to be fun to. Be Friends with everybody don't have a certain click. be yourself, don't fake out you will get caught. Don't forget to smile!
