At a K-12 school for the first time. A lot of people will probably know each other already from already being there, but I'm not going to know anyone anddd I'm extremelyy nervous. Who am I going to sit with at lunch? What if I can't find my classes? Also, I've never had to use a locker, so I'm nervous about that. Advice, pleasee!!! Also, if you could tell me about how your first day of high school was? Thanks a lot! =D

  1. lol it happen same as me......first day school i didnt know anyone and decide to eat lunch by my self and i still forget how to open locker...next day i made new friend who also new to school and i finaly memorize the code for locker

  2. Don't worry about it. Just don't be shy and introduce yourself to people. There usually is someone in the class who will be very kind. Just be yourself and try to find other people who are like you.

  3. it will be fine, i garrentee there will be someone who will be nice to you, or someone else in your situation that you can hang around with. The scool will probably take a few days to get used to but if you get lost you can always ask someone. If you cant find anyone to sit with at lunch find a table with people from your year who look friendly, go and sit down with them and say "hi, i'm _____ can i sit with you" they wont say know, and if they do they arnt the person you should be hanging around with anyways. Lockers are nothing to worry about, dont lose your key and you'll be fine. I'm about to start my 3rd year of high school and my first days were fine. Good luck, keep your chin up, and dont worry!! :)

  4. first day of high school was fun, i made friends by just talking to them, it depends on where you sit in classes, dont sit off by yourself or anything, just be "open" dont give anybody the cold shoulder or anything and most importantly, be yourself, and be nice

  5. Well, I've just started high school and yes, it is nerve wrecking at the start. Within the first few days, I lost my timetable and had to find my classes. I was really scared, walking throughout the school, looking for my class. At last, I had no choice but to go to the office and asked them where my class is. They were really nice, they gave me an indication of where my class is, and if I couldn't find it, I was to come back.

It was also hard getting to know my classmates. I'm very social, yes; but I'm just not the type that gets up and introduce myself and get to know people. It was a very hard stage for me, but I got through that and met some new friends. You will find that, like throughout our lives, friends are really important. I must say, through high school, friends are crucial. You may not find friends within the first few days, but you will find that during lunchtimes, there will be some people that ask you to join them.

I'm halfway through high school, and the advice I will give you is to just be natural, be friendly and not panic when you get lost. There will always be help at hand, I know it's a cliché, but it's true. If you get lost, ask someone nearby. If you have no one to sit with during lunch, find someone and introduce yourself. And as for your locker, don't worry too much about it. You'll get the hang of the it.

I was worrying the same things at the start of the year, so I know how it feels. But once you get to know other people and get the hang around your school, you will wonder why you have been worrying so much. I say, have fun and good luck!
