  1. Be yourself.

    Study hard.

  2. Stay focused because there is alot of peer influence.  Set goals for yourself.  Teachers will not baby you so they are going to expect you to be more responsible.  The schools communicate less with parents at this stage too.

Most of all don't take the easy road out.  Challenge yourself and discipline yourself now to study.  It's not just about passing a test, it's about retaining knowlege because everything you do from now on will count towards your future.

It's not scary...just think of it as another great step towards growing up and taking charge of your life.

You'll do fine.  It's only as big and scary as you make it in your mind.

  3. i know its quite natural. u remind me of myself last year before i joined high school. i went to yr 7 i was nervous but i met new people settled in and i just went through my 1st year and its already over. and yet now i'm looking forward to going to school from september.

have fun, mix in with people, u might not just love it the first day, but slowly i'll get used to it!!

    gud luck! ♥~♥~♥

  4. relax and enjoy it

  5. Do you mean middle school? Well it matters on how tough the school is. Is it the type where you just start working or one where you relax and have fun the first day of school?

  6. <insert shrug here> so you're starting secondary school... what are they serving at the cafeteria?

dont make such a big deal out of it. basically, everyone is going to go there and try to act all mature and snobbish because they're thinking "oh I'm like so mature and worldly and grown up because I'm in secondary school". so when people start with that BS, just ignore them and go about your life.

remember that people in your age group are prone to drama so, avoid that too. and whatever you do, dont bow to peer preasure or get involved in smoking, drinking or drugs. are you really interested in impressing some other child by doing the stupid things they try to goad you into? I think not.

  7. Be Yourself !

    Its Normal To be Scared.

    Just Go With The Flow.

    Everything Will Be Fine.
