  1. first start by 50-50ing the box (going straight). never go on your edges or your gonna fall. keep your board flat and if your goa fall off, just fall off. landing: land straight (very hard question i know) :P i cant olly on a skateboard so i guess ollying of a snowboard is alot easier since i can. just do a tail press then push off it and you show have just ollied...easy.

    wtf is a falling leaf???

  2. Umm Make sure you get on the box flat. Becuase it you go on an edge you will fall.

That's what I did wrong at frist. And you have to take it slow, but not to slow.

Oh and work your way up.

Ps. You will fall. But you need to get back up.

  3. Practice riding straight with a flat base on a very slow pitch before you try a box.  The first box you pick should be a "ride on" box so you don't have to ollie.  Try keep a deeper bend in your knees - again with a flat base - while on the box.  For the landing, just absorb the impact by bending the knees more.  If you can ride with a flat base, it is not that hard.  Have fun!

  4. dont try to turn with your edges on the box it wont work. btw are you trying a butter box or a normal box. if theres a gap make sure you hop a bit and once your on stay balanced.

  5. turniing skills will not apply to a box. so dont turn or your goin down, and if you plan on falling, which you will, where a helmet.

  6. okay i just started riding park too. i am also goofy. so get about 20 ft from the box, take one final good turn and ride straight at it. just keep looking at the end of the box. when you get to the end of the box slightly lift up your nose. ride away clean. if you fall get up quick in case theres someone behind you (it will HURT if they hit you). that is pretty much it

    HOPE I HELPED YOU OUT! : )

  7. you have to make sure you keep your board perfectly level with the box, don't lean on your heal or toe side just stay level. you also need to keep your knees as bent as possible so you can absorb the landing and handle yourself well. the faster you go across the easier. when you go slow you're more likely not to make it fully across and fall off the side.

in the future if you want to start any kind of tricks, just make sure not to be scared and go for it with control.

good luck! and it's so much fun =]
