  1. I did volleyball camp for a week too. Maybe we were on the same team! Who knows? Anyway, if you have braces get a mouthguard! My friend, Katie, did that for soccer.

  2. I played vollyball in 7th grade and there is nothing to it really. i have braces now and i still play vollyball and they havent fell out yet,but if you want to be extra cautioness you can go buy a mouth gourd. i'v been hit in the head many times during practise and have gotten headaches from it as well. but i give my advise to you that if you wear glasses get contacts cause i was stupid enough not to even bother with contacts and all of a sudden while i was playing in a game i got hit really bad and my glasses broke so now i wear contacts. Well i hope you have fun at vollyball camp and things. Good luck

  3. hey im going to a volleyball camp for a week too.where do you live??cause i live in clovis.

  4. it is really fun I'm sure that u wont have to worry about your braces cuz i have them and i do just fine have fun

  5. i play volleyball and i don't have braces but i know a lot of people who do and they have never had any problems with them and u don't get hit in the head very often

  6. I'm17 & i've been playing volleyball since i can remember...there's nothing to be scared about...just go out there and have fun

I don't think your braces will get knocked out if you get hit in the face, so don't really worry about that...

Volleyball is really fun & even if you don't know how to play it u'll still have fun 'cause it's really easy

Good luck & hope you enjoy being at the camp :)

  7. I have braces and i am now in 10th grade and when i got my braces on when i was in 8th grade i was so worried that i would too get his in the face and it would bleed all over but i talked to my mom and she said that the more you are worried about getting hit in the face the more likley it will happen because you dont want it to but the more you say im going to be fine nothing will hit me im the mouth the lesslikley it will happen its a psychological thing (all in your head)

Have a wonderful time at your volleyball camp and good luck
