I'm there for a Friday and Saturday night - Friday night is the fun night, Saturday is the classy/romantic night. Thanks!

  1. I WENT TO MANCHESTER ONCE IT WAS SHUT  KEEP LONDON ON THE MENU,

SO MANY PLACES TO EAT OUT OR CHILL OUT

    ENJOY

  2. At Mikady's, tell Ronald you were recomended

  3. London is a tourist ridden shathole, go to Manchester, much more soul!!

  4. I love the French House in Dean Street, Soho. It is small and friendly. The food is lovely and the wine list pretty comprehensive. The decor is unique and there is usually a small art/ photo exhibition on the walls. This place is quite expensive, but worth it. We use it when we are celebrating.

Papageno in Wellington Street, behind the Transport Museum, Covent Garden, is a jaw dropping place. The decor is amazing. Food and wine are very reasonably priced.

Check these out on any of the web sites for London restaurants. www.toptable.co.uk is a good one. They have special offers if you book through them sometimes.

Gordon's Wine Bar is worth a visit too for a drink. They only do wine and port. There is no other place like it, especially if you get a table in the vaulted bit.

  5. For fun, how about a night at Guanabara - this is a Brazilian bar and restaurant with music too, just near Covent Garden.

For your classy/romantic night you could try Le Boudin Blanc - a lovely French restaurant located in the cute Shepherds Market area of Mayfair

  6. The RainForest cafe on Shafestbury avenue for the fun place.

Ramsay at Claridges for the classy.

  7. Hi there are lots of places try looking on

    and

London eating is good as it wil give you "best for" lists - to find somewhere good for different occasions.

Both websites have info about scepial offers too.

If you are feeling touristy but classy try Rules - oldest restaurant in London and VERY traditional. Other personal recommendations - Pasha, Gilgamesh, Mango tree, Hakkasan, Yauatcha (like Hakkasan but easier to get a table), Asia de Cuba mentioned above, Blue Elephant are all very good. A few of the above have decent bars too. Check them out on the websites mentioned

  8. Asia de Cuba is a really fun and hip restaurant. Be warned it is quite expensive.
