I feel dumb but I really haven't got my head around this one yet.Is it basically a constructed oxymoron revolving about a verb?

Or is it more of a neologism for verbs?

  1. Listen to TD; he is the inventor of the form. Con-verb must always begin with a capital letter. It is a proper noun, like your name.

  3. Con-verb is a wordplay, the opposite of Proverb. They are meant to be the contrarian's take on wisdom.

  4. Another g*y *** part of english, extremely unuseful, just talk in a sentence, english sucks...

  5. As per The Unsinkable TD Euwaite. (aww did I break it?)

That's why I like Con-verbs. I can use my puns happily and possibly make people think at the same time. Perfect balance. Fools people into thinking I'm intelligent.

ROFL oh gee I make myself laugh sometimes (ahem...sorry)

    Have a try writing them.

No,the Koalas didn't save up to support themselves, the government is spending big to do that. And it is apparently newsworthy (for some)

This is close. As long at they are anti-proverbial, they are on the right track.

Here is the new and revised textbook explanation:

    CONVERB

The Converb (the opposite of Proverb) is meant to be a rude little squawk about anything that bothers the author. There are no rhyme and meter requirements. The only rules in Converbs are: they must be short and to the point, they must have a barbed tale or other sharp stick at the end.

They should also be contrary to popular opinion.
