I'm studying for my high school diploma online; will that be treated as if I received one from High School?

It really depends on what career you're aiming for and whether or not you'll get a higher education degree.

On resumes, if the date you receive your high school diploma is within a year of your expected date of graduation it's not problematic.  But, usually, employers don't like to see that you didn't stick with the standard - well that's sometimes true for small businesses.  Larger corporations have way more legal issues so they don't discriminate as readily as small businesses in terms of previous education.
