Question:

I'm such a bad dancer but I love dancing; what should I do?

I've tried lessons but I'm still bad, my friends just can't teach me, I jump around like an elephant, I've got a bit of a belly, and I can't free style at all?!?! How the heck can I become a dancer?

    but I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM!

    so don't worry about it

    i PERFORM! ok? so like

    EVERY1 sees my sucky dancing.

    but i love dancing so it okie-dokie-doo

    and if any says anything, let it fall off you and just say "i represent that remark very strongly" its funny but yeah so just chiill & keep dancing, if your hearts in it, u should be having fun & thats what matters

  3. Some people just have to work harder than others, thats just the fact of life. And dont feel bad, im chubby too and you just have to do your best. Im not sure what kind of dance you are into...but here are some things i try to remember

    Toe Touches

    -Keep your head up and look straight ahead

    -Keep your back straight

    -Point your toes

    Turns

    -Make sure you spot each turn (pick a spot on the wall and keep your eyes focused on it and whip your head around)

    -When you prep keep your ankle off of the floor

    -(Posture)While you are turning dont bend over      stand up straight

    -keep you leg tucked in and point you toes

    Leaps

    -point toes

    -look up

    -make sure you dont bend your knees

    -Height, keep your back leg up

    also remeber to

    Stretch every day to keep from getting sore

    Keep your arms sharp and straight!!

    Have a positive attitude and smile!!

  7. just ask your dance teacher to help you out a bit and show some moves and if you really think your that bad then keep practicing

  9. Don't get me wrong, I think dancing is great, but I'm not a big fan of elephants. I would try to dance more like a meerkat, or a wildebeast. The key is to dance with your ankles, and wear really big shoes. Works every time. Or dance with strobe lights. Can't tell that dancing is bad. Watch out for seizures.

  10. Take dance lesson at a good, reputable studio.  Unitl then... keep on dancing, it'll help you get  rid of some of that belly.

  12. Practice more and work on your balence and gracefulness. If you know you cant dance....do it anyways for fun...just dont expect to become a professional dancer(sorry)

  13. I also think you should just enjoy yourself and if someone says something about it say "bite me".
