  1. as far as I know, yes.

But I dont know if any laws change (i know that NSW has a L plater speed limit of 80 kmh and QLD L's follow normal speeds).....

THe answer should be yes, but you would have to check about the different laws relating to Lerners in NSW and QLD (particually the 80 kph speed limit in NSW)

  2. if she has her learners permit and has a fully liscenced driver next to her.....yes

  3. I know when I moved from N.S.W to Qld my learners permit was no longer valid I had to redo the the learners test but that was 14 years ago.

  4. Whether she can or can not be vigilant about the speed limits that a learner driver can or should drive at. If you are on a highway/freeway that has a speed limit of over 90km then be aware that this will cause traffic to slow, it is potentially dangerous because people will get frustrated at such a slow speed limit and more than likely overtake recklessly and nor tailgate. Not to mention that higher speeds are a danger for inexperienced drivers. I do understand that you are wanting her to gain this experience but experience first needs to be gained at a slower speed.

  5. Yes definately - make sure you follow the rules though,

In NSW you have to display a L plate and not exceed 80 with a fully lisenced driver supervising.

In QLD you need a L plate and have to stay 90 or below - though it could be 80 so just stick with 80 a fully lisenced driver supervising

In Vic - well you obviously know the rules there cos that's where you are from.

In nsw the link is -  www.rta.nsw.gov.au

in Qld it is known as qld transport - www.transport.qld.gov.au/

  6. She sure is.

16 year olds are allowed to be on a learners permit in NSW. The law regulates to the licencing state but you must follow all road rules.

Perhaps have a look at http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au and see if there are any regulations.

  7. If she has learners permit and has a fully liscenced driver next to her then yes she can.
