  1. u will never get hurt there, just pickpocketed, don't put your wallet in your back pocket

  2. Better if you read the Amnesty International annual report.

    http://thereport.amnesty.org/eng/regions...

  3. No nothing will happen to you. I have never heard of any kind of kidnappings, torture and killings on class students in Italy or Greece!

I have been to Italy and Greece and it's some very beautiful countries in each way!

And if you're with your class you'll be very safe.

Just enjoy your trip and have fun! Nothing will happen to you

  4. Ahahah no no don't worry...!! really, i'm italian, and well, here we don't have any problems like that...

Well, of course, pay attenction, NEVER walk alone at night, if you get lost don't accept any car passage, but go to the police immiedatly, stay always with your teachers and your friends.. in any case, if yuo want some emergency number, they are:

112 - carabinieri (is similar to police)

    113 - police

115 - vigili del fuoco (firesman)

    118 - ambulance, first aid

You can call them also by a telephon kiosk, because you don't pay for it, they're free number,., you can call also by your mobile phone if you have one.

Dont' worry and enjoy your trip!!!!

  5. If this helps you, there are lots of people in other countries who are scared to death of travelling in the United States.  They see our TV and movies and get the impression we are overrun with gangsters and criminals.  Italy and Greece are very safe.  The crimes they have are mostly pickpockets and other various scams (credit card theft, luggage theft.)  They don't tend to harm people.  Any kidnappings get national news coverage because they are so rare (in comparision to the 400 people murdered here in Los Angeles last year.)
