I'm taking cipro... is mild arm pain something to worry about?

It seems to have no cause. It's not that bad but it kind of feels like I've been lifting weights. Is mild muscle pain a typical side effect of Ciprofloxacin? I keep finding contradictory info

  1. are you young? in children and adolescents, cipro can cause tendon and ligament relaxation, which can be painful with activity. to avoid potential serious side effects, try to minimize strenuous activity until you're done with cipro.


  2. mild muscle pain is not a common side effect of this particular medication but rare side effects are possible.  Rare side effects of this medication can occur in almost any part of the body.
