Ok so I've taken my behind the wheel driving test twice already and failed.

1st time- I did everything perfect, we were one block away from the DMV and i ran a red light ( i know, crazy!) I though i passed and took my mind off the road for one second...

2nd time- I go out to make a left turn and in doing so I turned from the left lane to the left hand lane, which I wasn't suppose to do because it was a "turning lane" only. I was suppose to go into the right lane.

They call that a critical error.

So I'm going tomorow and im so nervous! I am 18 and have been dreaming about getting my license since forever and it's been a nightmare. Does anyone have any tips? I have done ALOT of practicing. Also I have even more pressure because if I fail

again tomorow they will take my permit and i will have to take the written test again! Please Help, I'm praying i pass!!!!

  1. Go to your docs today and ask for a 'beta-blocker' tablet.  It stops your heart going to fast which helps with the nerves but won't effect your driving.

  2. Just don't do anything unless the instructor tells you to.You are allowed to make 15 minor mistakes just don't make any major ones like speeding or running a red light.Relax, concentrate, listen and become comfortable - it will be really easy then.

  3. First of all I hope you pass tomorrow.

Driving might be a big thing for you and your age but trust me after a month it will become natural to you, but here are some tips.

An hour before your test, just cruise around the DMV area get familiar with all the signs and streets and lights.

After you pass each light there is the speed limit sign posted on the right side of the street, always pay attention to that.

When changing lanes always look over your shoulder, first use the indicator, then right mirror, and then your neck. YEAH PPUSH IT HARD TO THE RIGHT CORNER, GO OVER YOUR SHOULDER, you want to make sure that the test taker understands your process. (Same with changing lane to the left).

When crossing a green light, even it is green, look left and right (there might be a drunk person running the red light).

Watch for the School Area sign and obey the speed limit, even is a line of cars behind you because you are going slow don't even pay attention to them.

Relax and always belly breath don't panic.

You can do it! Now, go and get it! Wish you the best luck.

  4. Just relax man, smoke some ganja.
