Hmmm...Leeds...romantic....well takes all sorts!

In terms of restaurants...depends what you want.

Nice Italian - quite lively is Bibis

Good restaurant at Malmaison hotel

If you want 'gourmet Indian' then try Akbars tho' personally I think it's overpriced for a curry!!

Sous le Nez en Ville gets rave reviews - I think it's OK but nothing fab.

I was born and raised in Leeds and lived there until 3 years ago when I emigrated to Australia.

If my boyfriend told me he was taking me to Leeds to go shopping and to stay over - well the would be the most Romantic thing in the world!

Hope you have a great time (the Harvey Nichols restaurant is really nice, expensive but good!)

Take her to York instead, it's very romantic and there's an amazing array of restaurants from all cultures, beautiful cobbled streets strewn with Olde Worlde shops, and there's far more to explore and learn about than Leeds. I was born and bred there and couldn't wait to leave.
