YAY! I was chosen to take part in an exchange in England! My person is coming in September, and I am a little nervous... For those who have experienced an exchange, can you give me some advice? Also, how should I act when I get to England?

Thanks!

  1. Congratulations!!!

    Advice:

    1. Bring a small present for your family that represents your hometown/state. My Aussie parents still show off the various Texas magnets/ornaments I've sent them over the years.

    2. Be open minded about the different types of food. I found that food was the big non-people aspect of USA life that I missed (no peanut butter?????). Once I opened my mind and palate to the local treats, I was very pleasantly surprised.

    How to act:

    1. Respectful

    2. Friendly

    3. Excited

    Have fun!!
