I'm taking the train to Virgina soon, and I was wondering do they have security check? I'm nervous, because the longest I've ever ridden in a train was for only 2 hours, and now I will be traveling for many hours more, but it's at night. I think it's AmTrax station. Also, for a 4 hour bus ride would they have a security check? Thanks so much! God bless!

  1. No reason to be worried.  There will likely only be a minor security check, such as a look at your picture id (such as a driver's license).  While they have the right to inspect luggage, it doesn't happen all that often, and when it does, it's a check, rather than the lengthy one they do for air passengers.

Yes, you'll be riding on Amtrak, which provides intercity passenger train service in the United States.
