Any way the 1st pace I want to try is Whitchurch North Shropshire (I'm travelling from Buxton Derbyshire) when I mentioned it to my male friend he went off on one told me not to (I wasn't going to visit him so whats the prob?)

Was he right to do so?

Advice would be welcome

Thanks everyone

  1. Contrary to the previous reply, the National Concession pass CAN be used on some parts of some National Express journeys, providing they are registered as local services

  2. If you mean the free national pass you cannot

use it on National coaches. You can only use

it after 9.30 until 23.00 on local buses. So you better plan your

route.Or be prepared to book into a B&B for the night. That is what he was getting at.Reckon he's fixed up with a bit of skirt and

    wants no interruption.

  3. I don't see any reason why you shouldn't do the trip ... there's nothing particularly dangerous about it after all ... you've researched the route and taken overnight stops into account so I don't see the problem ... as to why he "went off on one", heaven knows, you've obviously hit some nerve there, but it's his problem not yours ... the only other thing I trust you're aware of is that the national bus pass is England only, so wouldn't work in Wales
