Question:

I'm the class of 2009, and i really need ALOT of answers please! A bit of advice will make a big difference.

First i would like to start off with saying thank you for opening this up & i would love it if you can give me a response. <3

Well i'm from class of 09 & I'm obviously going on a collegesearch. and i found Pepperdine University which is located in Malibu California ( Private Religious school) and my 10-11 gpa is 3.27. what SAT scores do you think i need to be on the safe side?

i also have asb. b-ball. swim. few clubs that im in for extra things. but what kind of vountleer work would you guys recommend? and any suggestions?

I am also aware that they will look at your senoir first semester grades.. so im aware of that.

  1. Pepperdine is a very good school.  I&#039;ve had friends that have gone there.  Expensive beyond belief, though.

    I would look at things like working with the Special Olympics or Habitat for Humanity.  Things that show you care for others.  Doing mission work won&#039;t hurt, either, remember this is a religious school.  If you belong to a youth group that is planning a trip to Mexico or someplace like that, make sure you go.  Even if it is a domestic mission trip and you are going to go help another church in the next state over from you, go.

    Don&#039;t worry about your SAT scores, just study for the test and your scores will take care of themselves.

    at least above average so shoot for 1700 0r higher

    focus ur volunteer work on something ur intersted in

    ex. if u wanna be a doc volunteer at a hostpital

    good luck!

    oh and collegedata.com has an &quot;odds&quot; calculator that tells u how likely u r to get into a certain school so u might wanna check it out
