I'm the group owner, and I can't find my group when I search forn it?

When I search through yahoo groups I ncan't find my groups they don't show up. I can't find out how to check the search settings on my groups. Private or public

look to be sure it is listed- homepage left side below tabs Info- Settings. under setting it'll say if it's listed or not.

closed groups wont list.

Info will show category

Settings will show if the group is listed in directory or not, and will also state group type, Membership by invitation only, Membership requires approval  or Membership doesn't require approval

to set the group to be listed

management- under group settings description and appearance- Description (Edit) <-- click the edit- scroll to lower Listing Type, check * Listed in Yahoo! Groups directory- click save changes

if it is a closed (Membership by invitation only) this cant be reversed

If your group is newly created, it will take up to a week to appear in the Group Directory and Group Search.  In the meantime, go to http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups

This will pull up a list of all the groups you belong to including the one you own.
