I'm thinking about buying a 2004 grand prix as a first car?

I was wondering how reliable this car would be, it has 63,000 miles. Also the car cost $8,500 do you think this is is a good price.

Ya its a good price, you should still haggle though, its always worth a shot. But isnt 8500 a little much for a first car anyways? get a $5000 one and you have gas money and money for when you break it.

I've got a 2004 grand prix. It's got about 78000 miles and is in pretty good shape. It had some problem with the anti-lock brake system some time ago where applying the brake pedal did not allow the braking system to engage correctly. They replaced a speed sensor on the left front wheel and this solved it. There hasn't been anything major wrong with it for its age.
