I want a camera that takes quality photos of course but I also want it to be able to record video, preferably in a format that Windows Movie Maker accepts. I have a little over $250 to spend, so I'll say the price range is nothing over $300. Any cameras you recommend?

  2. Hi,

I did a lot of research and found Canon PowerShot SD870 is to be the best camera for the money.

(8.3 Megapixel, 3.8x Optical Zoom, 4x Digital Zoom, CCD Sensor, 3" LCD)

This camera is totally awesome! Takes very high quality pictures at a very fast speed. I highly recommend it for its small size, image stabilizer and long life rechargeable battery.

From the first day I received it. I just love it. Great shots up close and far away. Moreover, this is a very handy, tiny and light camera that you can carry in your pocket without feeling it.

The screen is huge and the colors are really good.

Menus and settings are very easy and clear. Some tips appear on the screen when you are using different modes, it is very helpful.

    Great camera!!!

    I bought it here:
