  1. Look into the name brand.  And if you buy a cue under $100 you get what you pay for.  Meaning most likely junk.  Look into Jacoby cues.

  2. If more than about $50 maybe not

Sounds like an Ebay build up ask how long you have to return it first  I have bought some and sent them right back

  3. if its on ebay, what is the auction #, do they have pics so we can help you? if you dont wanna disclose auction #, to everybody, give it to johnny, i believe he knows quite a bit on cues.

  4. Sounds like a Players cue. They are a pretty good cue to start with, although I feel they are a long way from the best. They are affordable though, and for the money they are not bad at all. The main idea is that you feel comfortable playing with whichever cue you buy. If you have the chance, hit some balls with several cues and find the one that feels right to you.

  5. These ebay cues are 75-25. 75% junk but then 25% pretty good cues. They use new wood ( not cured long enough) and this results in some warpage.

If you are looking for a modest price and willing to take a chance...why not. Be very certain of the return policy and of course the shipping.

    Luck
