I'm thinking about buying a satellite radio and was wondering if anyone has any comments pro or con on them.

Here are my own Personal Pros and cons of each service.

XM Satellite Radio:

Pros- Have better quality radios then Sirius.

Never Loose Reception

Not as much DJ chatter as Sirius

Deeper Play lists

Great shows and live events

MLB

69 Commercial Free Music Channels (XM in house programming)

Great Holiday Programming

Great Portable Radios

Better Overall Sound Quility Then Sirius

Cons-

4 Music Channels with commercials from Clear Channel Communications. _ That isn't a reason to not subscirbe.

Sirius Satellite Radio-

Pros: Good Coffee House Radio Station

Great Sounding Boom boxes

Great Customer Support

Cons:

Poor Programming

Too much DJ chatter

Too many promotions on channels

Cheaply Made Radios

I've had XM for 5 years and love it compared to regular radio.

Whatever type of music you like there is a channel for it that plays music with NO commercials.

Lots of talk, sports, and news stations to choose from which do have some commercials.

MLB you get to listen to the home team announcers for EVERY baseball game.

Most college football and basketball games are aired also.

The best thing is great reception no matter where you drive in the USA, you never have to turn the channel!

Again, NO COMMERCIALS on music channels!

The only con is you have to pay for it.
