I'm thinking about getting a tattoo for my 30th b-day, what would you reccomend?

i've never gotten a tattoo before, but I would like to celebrate this major milestone in my life. i'm very tempted to get a small one, but pretty nervous. what do you think i should do?

I got my first tattoo when I had my baby girl I got her name put on me because it represents alot of things. you should get something that means alot to you or represents something to you

Get one, but only if you think about it for a while and decide on something you really want. Who knows what you should get - you need to decide that. I think it is better to get something that means something to you - not just a butterfly or flower or star. Unless of course, one of those is something that you actually really want. But give it thought and chose a tattoo idea you love, and research artists in your area and find a great one. If you want one, go for it! You only live once, and I think it's better to regret what you've done than what you haven't.

personally I think if you don't know what you want and you are just getting one to get one, then you are going to regret it. If you want to mark an event in your life, or decorate your body to reflect your personality, then go for a symbol of yourself.

My first was a small butterfly on my shoulder, it's cute & colorful and the good thing is....IT DIDN'T HURT NEAR AS BAD AS I THOUGHT IT WOULD!! So, maybe a butterfly :)

the reason for getting a tatoo should be something special. if girls at all have too many tatoos it could appear to be trashy but my opinion is if anyone gets a tatoo it should mean something to them the words , the quotes, the picture, the meaning behind it should always have a true meaning. maybe about a close relative, or someone passed away it should stand for something. maybe a rose would be pretty just make sure it means something because you'll be stuck with it forever and you dont want it to be a mistake you want it to be something you see everyday and smile
