i have one of those and they're pretty good. small, light-weight, and does basically everything you need for a mobile media player. 8 gig is the maximum amount of space you'll get on it which is not to bad for most people. if you're going to have a lot of songs and videos/movies, the classic maybe better for you. the back of the nano isn't scratchproof so i would recommend a case if you buy one. in my opinion, the screen is a little small for viewing videos but if you can get by it it'll be ok

well its awesome u can put pictures on it music and u can make playlists.there are two games and u are going to love it but i think a zune is better then an ipod it has more features then an ipod

Ipod nano has 3 generation. I'm not sure which one you're plannin' to get so i just describe them all

First generation

They are great players however you can find something just at good for a cheaper price. I have a sansa e250 and love it. It has radio, radio recording, voice recording, can play videos and do almost anything the ipod can do. The fuze is out which looks like the new nano and is alot cheaper so you can get a bigger memory if you are on a budget. Also it has a micro SD expansion slot for even more memory. It's not that I dont like ipod's it's just I don't like paying for extra for the logo.
