  1. depending on where you go......remember the dry parts of the country (liberia and much of guanacaste) are VERY dry in the north american winter (their summer).

other parts are going to have a little bit more rain in august than guanacaste is...the carribean coast is going to be very very wet in august for example

you will dry off quickly (although it will be a humid "dry off") after the rains unless you are in the highlands.  it is still warm tho.

a rain jacket that just beads the rain off is useful.  you probably do not want big womperstomper shoes or thick jeans becasue they will be less likely to dry quickly.

  2. Well here are two main seasons... but the weather is pretty weird, sometimes there's more rain in the dry season than the rainy one xD well but it probably that it will be pretty rainy in august so don't forget your umbrella  xD

  3. Costa Rica weather is made up of two main seasons, the wet season and the dry season. The dry season runs from January to May, whereas the wet season runs from May to December.

On the Pacific side of Costa Rica, the wet season begins in May and runs until November. However, on the Caribbean side of Costa Rica, the wet season begins in April, and runs until December. The Caribbean side of Costa Rica receives occasional storms during the rainy season

so in agoust come a raincoat and umbrella  is very useful...!!

and  careful sewer system  on street   alajuela
