I'm thinking about going to the Bahamas . . .?

Question

Has anyone stayed at the RIU Paradise Island All Inclusive Resort in Nassau, Bahamas, or at least heard anything about it? I'm on a budget and would like to spend as little as possible but still stay at a not-so-bad resort. Any ideas would be appreciated.

RUI is very nice, the pool is beautiful and overlooks the ocean.    I've eaten there a few times - the food is very good and the overall hotel service is wonderful.  I don't know anyone who has been disappointed with their stay at RUI.  

There is alot to do in that location as well. It's right next to Atlantis resort, and Marina Village.

Ok I would Privies you to go to abaco or eluthra because Nassau is crowded and expensive and abaco and eluthra r more entertaining and worth the low budget.

I went to the Atlantis Resort, its' i think $600(in the cheapest room) a night and you have to stay for a minimum of 5, but it's a lot of fun, there's  the largest water park in the world, clubs, shopping,free movie theater, best beaches, good food IT WAS AMAZING. that was where my mom had her wedding also, so i had like 40 of my family members there and it was fun to see my cousins i've never met, and they didn't mind getting a free trip! but i think the riu is nice, i could see it from our resort, but not nearly as nice as the Atlantis.

If you are on a budget, I would recommend looking at hotels on Cable Beach.  It is less crowded, less expensive and still within walking , taxi  or public bus of anywhere you want to go.
