  1. I have visited several times, my son lives there. He loves it. The economy is booming and plenty of things to do..Head over to the citydata.com and check it out.

  2. I live in Raleigh NC and have been to Charlotte a few times and it looks to be a nice place.

I have heard a lot about them having bad schools and a high crime rate. They do seem to have many jobs in certain feilds.

I wouldnt recomend moving there but the town over Concord is very nice.

  3. Charlotte is a good town; there are jobs available in many industries, there are quite a few different things to do; but as far as living in it, I wouldn't.  I live in Gastonia and it's not a rich community by any means, but it has an excellent charter school (yeah, like I'd put my kids in the public school system here, NOT).  The towns north of Charlotte, as well as the ones between Charlotte and Gastonia, are definitely worth checking out.

  4. i live in mooresville its about a 45 min drive to charlotte, i personally wouldnt live in charlotte at all!! Yes there are alot of things to do, clubs, bars, concerts... but thats about it... if you have kids, really check into the schools, i dont have kids so i dont know how well they are.. All i can tell about is stories i have heard when i was in high school.. But as another person posted check out other towns around charlotte too, like concord, huntersville.. hope this helps...

  5. I don't like how the place look. I think it look kind a too country outside of downtown.

  6. I live in Raleigh and wish I lived in Charlotte, there is absolutely nothing to do in raleigh..there are a few musuems downtown and thats about it..lots of empty store fronts...new buildings going up but im not sure why..there is absolutely no "draw" down there...all ppl do is talk about how raleigh is 2 hours from the beach, 2 hours from the mountains...but what good is that? Charlotte is larger, has a Dave and Busters, pro basketball and football....alot more jobs than raleigh too..i would go for it..

  7. The economy is fine, but you'd be better off in Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill...awesome place to live and work. Check it out.
