  1. uhh yeah first of all it's in TEXAS!!! if that doesn't scare you I don't know what will.  My sister lives there, and being from Colorado, she hates it.  It is flat and there is NOTHING to do.   In a city of that size, that is horrible!  I would go to the Southeastern or the NorthWestern U.S.  Try Atlanta or Portland or Seattle, forget anything about Texas...it sucks!!

  2. Go on the Net,I have found maps everything you need to know about a town

  3. Pick another destination, the Midwest is nice ....

  4. Houston is the largest city in the state of Texas and the fourth-largest in the United States. The city covers more than 600 square miles (1,600 km²) and is the county seat of Harris County. As of the 2005 U.S. Census estimate, Houston had a population of more than 2 million. The city is at the heart of the Houston–Sugar Land–Baytown metropolitan area, the largest cultural and economic center of the Gulf Coast region and the seventh-largest metropolitan area in the U.S. with a population of 5.3 million in 10 counties.

Houston is internationally known for its energy—particularly oil—and aeronautics industries, and for its ship channel. The Port of Houston ranks first in the country in international commerce and is the sixth-largest port in the world. Second only to New York City in Fortune 500 headquarters, Houston is the seat of the Texas Medical Center, which contains the world's largest concentration of research and healthcare institutions.

Houston is one of 11 U.S. world-class cities by the Globalization and World Cities Study Group & Network. The city has an active visual and performing arts scene as Houston is one of the five U.S. cities that offer year-round resident companies in all major performing arts. The Houston Theater District is ranked second in the country for the number of theatre seats in a concentrated downtown area per capita. The city is home to NASA's Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center—where Mission Control Center is located—giving Houston its official nickname of "Space City."

The Geto Boys are a rap group from Houston, Texas, consisting of Scarface, Willie D and Bushwick Bill. They are known for ultra-violent lyrical content and socially conscious messages.

Influenced by Run DMC and N.W.A., The Geto Boys earned noteriety for their lyrics dealing with violence, s*x and death. In this respect, they may be seen as forerunners of both Esham and Eminem. Despite the explicit content of their songs, critic Alex Henderson argues that the group "comes across as much more heartfelt than the numerous gangsta rap ... wannabes who jumped on the gangsta bandwagon in the early '90s."[1]

The Geto Boys broke new ground with their soulful southern sound (perhaps a precursor to the Dirty South style), which was produced by people like Johnny C, Doug King, their DJ Ready Red, and later John Bido (producer) N.O. Joe and Mike Dean.

Rap-A-Lot Records is a Houston, Texas based hip hop record label. The label was founded by James Smith (A.K.A. J Prince) in the mid-1980's and, with its most famous act the Geto Boys, put the South on the hip-hop map. Since then it has maintained its success and focus on gangsta and southern rap.

It was referenced by Notorious B.I.G. on the song "Flava In Ya Ear (Remix)" when he said, "I'm not from Houston, but I Rap-A-Lot."

South Park Coalition (or S.P.C.) is a tightly knit group of rappers which K-Rino started in 1986, wanting to unite the talent in his South Park neighborhood and the city of Houston. Many of the members were battling each other around the city and were at war with one another. As a whole, they have released a total of over 100 albums, and 4 compilation albums.

The S.P.C. (South Park Coalition) consist of K-Rino, Ganxsta N.I.P., Klondike Kat, Point Blank, PSK-13, Ice Lord, A.C. Chill, Murder One, DBX, 20-2 Life, Ruff Eyque, Greek, and others.
