  1. Do you mean as a pro?

There are some important steps you will need to take if you want to be a successful pro.

    1) learn all the technical aspects of how to use a fully adjustable camera

(classes in photography are usually the least painful and quickest way to learn)

    2) Work as an assistant for a successful pro and a) hone your skills, b) learn the business, c) start building your photo system (cameras, lenses, lighting, etc) and d) attend SCORE classes to learn the art of doing business (making business and marketing plans, accounting, workflow processes, liability insurance issues and which business model is best for you  ... LLC, Chapter "S", sole proprietor or partnership)

  2. The pictures you put up are cute snapshots, however they give no indication of a future career. A skill such as photography is studied, practiced and honed over years. Although good photographers make it appear easy, gaining the knowledge for consistency is hard work If you are will to invest yourself into learning this trade, I'm sure you can "make it"!

  3. hmm.

    okay.

While you have a pretty good eye for subject matter, (THANK YOU for not posting uber boring pictures of flowers) you would benefit from learning about composition, contrast, the rule of thirds, and so on and so forth. Look into perhaps taking a photo course at your local community college, Not only will you learn about what makes a good photograph, you'll actually get to work with and make things with your pictures. WAY more fun than having them sit in your digital camera for months.

  4. I think you have a "good eye" for subject matter and composition. Keep at it! I too dream of having a couple of my photos thought of as "professional" grade and perhaps selling a few prints. It all take work, practice, and development of skill.

  5. Yes, but it takes time and technique and talent- persistence!

  6. Not being nasty, but the only one i really liked was the third one, the other ones just looked like day to day family fun photographs, they don't look like something you would put into a portfolio. They look a little boring to me, however, i like the third one. It's not that you don't have any potential, it's just the first two just look like fun-sleepover photos. They look Fun for sure, but not like a really nice photo.

however, i like the third one. Just go out, and shoot something more interesting, outside of the house, make them more interesting, and appealing. Understand? They aren't ' bad ', but they aren't really nice photographs ( with the exception of the third one ). Just shoot more interesting things. Perhaps you could be a rockstar photographer.

But, i'm not judging you or being rude am i ?

  7. for some reason i cant see them but i know that it take alot more than a good pictures you need to learn thing like light and lens and stuff but im sure you can do it

  8. Looks like you already made it.

Do you mean make a living at it? That has very little to do with your pictures and much more to do with promotion & your sense of business.

Optometrists and Truckers make more than the average photographer...and they are in much higher demand.
