I'm thinking about studying to become a wedding planner. Does anyone have any advice or tips on this?

I'm 31, not married, and have been to very few weddings. Should that matter?

How did you get started? What's the average salary? Why do you like to do it?

I have helped plan weddings but never thought of being a planner and I can tell you that they are a lot of work and something always goes wrong.  Also, I have never been married and have no desire to.

Good Luck and get your blackberry out.  Planning weddings is hard work and the customers seem to never be satisfied but that occurs with most jobs.
