  1. Yes, I worked in a restaurant for many years, and that's the most realistic portrayal I have seen yet! hilarious;!

  2. Nothing that nasty has ever gone on in the 11 establishments I have worked at. Yeah customers suck sometimes, but we deal with it and the worst that happens is complaining. I have never seen a weiner while working, that was for the movie's sake. As much as we'd like to destroy someones food I like to think everyone else has more integrity than that. I would excuse that lady from the retaurant, before doing something so horrible than that

  3. I used to be a waitress and my husband worked his way through University as a Kitchen-hand. We watched "Waiting" together  a few months ago and we were both stunned by the accuracy, sure they exaggerated it just a little  for the benefit of a good story but that scene with the customers coming in late and the chefs going berserk had my man on the floor in stitches, it had happened to him so may times  when he was working in kitchens, he TOTALLY identified with it.

  4. Sad but true....Yes...My husband laughed through the whole thing.  I was mortified.  He let me know other things that also went on during his shifts.  I didn't eat out for a long time....

  5. yes

  6. to an extent yes, it goes a little overboard as far as drug use and what they do to the ladies food although I have known cooks to drop and wash food. I have worked in the resturaunts for almost 15 years now and the "p***s showing game" well there is always something going on its how we stay destressed and as well adjusted as one can be working in a place where your clients often view you as servants and below any form of human compassion, lord help us if we are human and acidentally spill something it is the end of the world. We are supposed to know everything including all ingrediants in the food that is prepared (often from a frozen box) Yes fresh baked doesnt nessasarialy mean fresh baked by us its prob a reheat. The master chefs in the kitchen are doing the best to get food out in a timely manner but as servers are human we forget things and make mistakes wich throws off the kitchen yes we yell at each other but when the shift is done we would rather party with you than stay mad ! There is in every resturaunt a monty, a weirdo, a flirty teen , a manger that wants desperatly to be a part of the in crowd, and maybe all the charecter are not as strongly portrayed in real life but they are there. As to the clientel dead on and well you see how we feel! I as you probably guessed have the personality traits of Naomi however not as violent as she is!
