I'm thinking of applying to a tanning Salon !! Has anyone ever worked there before??!?

Hi I'm 16, I'm thinking of Applying to a tanning salon, I don't often go to a tanning salon..so I dont know how things work... but I hope to learn how to...do they have a cash register that would be easy to use??

What positions would I do? cleaning? the store..and the tanning beds?

Is it stressful??

my family actually owns a tanning salon so i can answer that for ya! :)

at our tanning salon, you are responsible for taking care of clients, working the computer and cleaning the beds as well as opening and closing the register (depending on when you work)

some tanning salons dont use a computer, just an appointment book, so it depends on the salon.

Also cash registers are really really easy to use!

your best bet is to just go into to one and check it out!

yes they have a cash register, yes its easy to use.

commision is usually good if you can sell packages.

yes, lots and lots of cleaning. you clean not only the store, but do laundry (towels in paticular) and clean the bed after every use.

can be stressful when it gets busy!
