This would be the last time I'm able to attend this show (k-grade 7, I'm in grade 7).

I'm thinking of playing a sad song. This would be my first time playing the piano in public and I'm feeling nervous already. What are some tips to overcome your nerves?

  1. I'm a 17 year old in grade 9 piano and I blanked out last year while I was playing in a festival. I just laughed about it and said that I really couldn't remember any more. The judges gave me extra marks for going on with what I could remember with a smile. After this, I realized that no one really cares whether you mess up or not. It's all about the joy of playing. There's really no reason to be nervous! Just go for it!

  2. Well, me and my friends are in 4th grade and we just did a talent show in front of the whole school and their parents. The thing you need to do is smile. Picture someone's underwear on their head. Then think about how many people will like you and know you afterwards.
